We saw The Prince of Wales off the coast of Scotland when we were there. Adrian recognized the shape, but we were very far away and the 2 photos are blurred. You have the prime position. I might send you a blurred photo in a an email. ;-)

Hi dear LGM ~ I first spotted her on the distant horizon as she came into view as she passed Bembridge on the IOW ~ just a shadow really ~ The weather was not great but it remained dry thank goodness xx

A great catch Nick. I presume this is the sister ship of 'The Queen Elizabeth'. I saw documentaries of the building of that in Scotland and also of her going into New York. Two ships to be proud of at last but hopefully never used in anger! Well done. Herb
