This looks tidy compared to last week's photo!
How are you doing with snow, Nick. Shropshire has been let off lightly, but it's extremely cold, and the fine snow has drifted in the fierce winds, leaving some parts almost bare and other parts with about 3 foot drifts.

Nice picture Nick. HFF and I hope you have a good weekend.
You probably know Chicklade Hill on the A303! It was at a complete standstill last night and only moving very slowly today!!
All the best, Rosa.

Nick Weall replied to Rosalyn Hilborne:

Yes Chicklade is well known to me and I have travelled the A303 many many times. The poor motorists have been having a bad time of it last night and today. In the winter of 1962/63 I was in Shaftesbury when the call went out that there were masses of vehicles stuck on the A30 near Ludwell we spent ages with shovels and manpower pushing the cars and lorries up the hill. The town hall in Shaftesbury became the shelter. A few days later I went to my new Army posting at Beachley Point near Chepstow, where the rivers Severn and Wye were both frozen over to some extent. A long cold winter that one ~ Stay safe Rosa ~ Warm winter wishes ~ Nick

Nick Weall replied to Steve D:

Hi Steve, yes it is a real case of wish we were there, instead of being in snowy Britain ~ hey ho. No doubt we wouldn't even be able to get to an airport or on a flight even we we could ~ So all we can do is enjoy the best of what is on offer :~) So thanks for your good wishes ~ May your weekend be full of warmth and nourishment ~ Nick
