Wow, that's got to be tricky work in the dark.

(My husband is an large equipment operator. I'll have to ask him if he's ever done this.)

Hi Karen ,
Thank you so much for your very kind visit.
I'm pleased that you have enjoyed it!
The work was done over three weekends, starting on Saturday morning, and ending Sunday evening, so each weekend they had to complete the half mile or so they were working on, hence 'round the clock'. As it is a 'stones throw' from my house I took a few walks there, and a lot of pictures!! They had provided good lighting too!! Maybe more will come..
Best Wishes, and keep safe!!

Hello Peter another interesting shot of the work being carried out here .. possibly as good a time as any with restricted movement to dig up the E.C.M.L

Best wishes and stay safe ...

Hi Steve,
Your visit is much appreciated. Thank you!
I am pleased you found it interesting.
This is a major relaying operation, and will go on every weekend until the end of March by all accounts (although moving progressively north each time). I thought it worth a little outing....
Best Wishes, and keep safe!!

This looks good though a bit spooky! Working at night is also often done in Germany so as not to disturb traffic too much during the day.

Hello Peter work that has to be done .. just hope there was not so much noise through the night when closer to the houses before moving North .. i remember when at Ruskington track laying work through the night could be heard even though we were quite some distance from the action ..

My dear Füsun,

Thank you so much!
It is always interesting to watch machines like this at work, especially when the darkness makes it more dramatic!! Maybe Ela will like it too!
