Hi Erhard ,
Your visit is most welcome. Thank you.
I am pleased you found it interesting.
Maybe you had something similar in Germany..
Best Wishes, and stay safe!
Peter
certainly takes me back to being glued to an old Black and White TV Peter ... and the days when Weeeeeeeeeed was a talking weed and not something you smoked ..
Hi Steve,
Your visit is much appreciated. Thank you!
I'm pleased that you have enjoyed it!
You must have lived in luxury! We never even knew what a TV set was, never mind dream of having one!
I remember seeing them when I was young, but I don't remember how or where. Must have been in school holidays or something,,
Best Wishes, and stay safe!

Hi Andy,
Thank you so much for your very kind visit.
I'm happy that you had a good look!!
I am also sure that these days the PC snowflake brigade would object to the title .. How about "Watch with whichever parent is able to give child care under the pretence of 'work from home'!"
Best Wishes, and stay safe!
Peter
PS, I also notice that the gardener 'went for his dinner', (not lunch), and the good old 'dinner ladies' we had in school..
Oh MY ! this is a great shot Peter! :)))) I saw the link, verrrrrry interesting :)) I want to try and make one of these.:) very artist and clever...
Best wishes, Sarah
Hi Sarah,
Thank you very much!
I'm pleased that you have enjoyed it, and gained inspiration from it!
They are part of a 'Village Scarecrow' competition, intended to raise morale during the virus times. Another entry is www.ipernity.com/doc/2247998/50091416
I am sure these two would be the talking point of your neighbourhood if you made them!!
Hi Amelia,
Thank you so much for your very kind visit.
I am pleased you found it interesting.
There are now the best part of 100 'scarecrows' around the village, some (like these) better than others!
Best Wishes, and stay safe!

Hi Nick,
Your visit is most welcome. Thank you.
I'm pleased that you have enjoyed it!
No, I had nothing to do with making them either!
Best Wishes, and stay safe!

Hi Rosa ,
Your visit is much appreciated. Thank you!
Glad you like them. As I said above, they are part of a village scarecrow competition (not my entry either). As I said to Steve, I remember them from many years ago, but don't remember how I came to watch them.. Now you mention it I remember the Wooden Tops existed, but don't remember anything about any of the characters, or story lines.. Obviously un-inspiring!
Best Wishes, and stay safe!
