You look as if you were trespassing on the railway lines, Peter. I was in this area just 4 days before you.

Hi Amelia ,
Thank you for visiting!
I'm happy that you had a good look!!
An even closer look, and bit of calculation, would show that it was taken from a place accessible to the general public. That aside, I have done the trackside permit exam for this railway...!!

Hi Erhard ,
Thank you for visiting!
I am pleased you found it interesting.
In fact this is a very simple signalling regime.. There is only one token. If you have it, you can proceed!

Love the maze of switches in the foreground and the near symmetry of the arm gestures, Peter.

Hi Annalia ,
Your visit is much appreciated. Thank you!
I am so happy that you like the scene.
I took about 50 pictures between the train leaving the station and passing me. Only two actually showed the token exchange, so I am pleased that you noticed!
As Steve has said below, that maze of switches is really quite simple, but greatly exaggerated by the low angle and zoom lens.

Hello Peter a lovely shot indeed ... the low angle here taking in the rails as foreground certainly makes it looks like you had to be a man in an Orange Jacket again to get this shot :))

Best wishes ... Steve

Hi Steve ,
Your visit is most welcome. Thank you.
I'm pleased that you have enjoyed it!
Very much influenced by www.ipernity.com/doc/2247998/45464010 from when Alan and yourself were there, but not wanting to duplicate the shot (which in fact was impossible, as the signal post has moved) I thought I would take a few as it left the station, and pick the best..
As for orange jacket, in fact not necessary. As I said to Amelia above, a 'depth of field' calculation clearly puts me on the public road by the crossing!

Best Wishes, and a Good Weekend,
Peter

Thank you so much for your very kind visit. Your thoughtful words make me very happy! I am so pleased that you like it!!
As always you are right! You know I have been to this line before, (https://www.ipernity.com/doc/2247998/album/1018210 ), and from the timetable planned where to go for the passage of each train..

Have a wonderful Sunday and St David's day!

What a magnificent scene, Peter. You caught it just right. I can almost hear the engine chugging along.

Many years ago (right before I was born) my family lived in Sherringham. :)
