Hi Nick,
Thank you for visiting!
Glad you like it. Of course you are right!
I am sure we all remember the sad story if the Chinese..
Best Wishes, and a good week ahead,
Peter
Hi Bea ,
Thank you so much for your very kind visit.
Glad you like it. In fact it was a dull grey day, so I tried to make the best of it!!
Best Wishes, and a good week ahead,
Peter
A beautiful picture. It looks quiet and peaceful!
But when I read Nick's comment I wondered about the dangerous waters he mentioned. Then I found this article in The Guardian. www.theguardian.com/science/2004/feb/12/thisweekssciencequestions
So Morecambe Bay looks really dangerous!!
My dear Füsun
Your visit is most welcome. Thank you.
I am pleased you found it interesting.
Of course you and Nick are right. The beach here is almost flat, so when the level of the tide rises. such a small increase means the water comes closer to the shore, quicker than a person can run.. Stay near the shore and everything is fine!!
Best Wishes, and a good week ahead,
Love Peter

Your visit and life experience are most welcome here.
On this particular day the tide was in. I kind of expected it to run out as quick as you suggest, but no. Maybe in the future others will learn the lessons!
Thank you so much for your visit and kind comments.
In summer this is a popular tourist beach and resort. Here in winter the only people are those walking their dogs, and a handful of others... But we did find a nice cafe!
