I am so happy that you like the scene.
Two years ago it looked a little different.. www.ipernity.com/doc/2247998/44562668
But I seem to remember some phone calls from this spot....!

Thank you so much for your very kind visit.
I am pleased you found it interesting.
There is only one preserved railway in the area, so if you took a ride from Corfe Castle to Swanage, then you passed this spot!!
Best Wishes,
Peter

Thank you very much!
Steam trains run on this line, but I thought the diesel made a nice picture with the yellow straw... Glad you like it.
Best Wishes,
Peter

Enchanting panoramic view, with such amazing depth, of a summer day in its peaceful golden and green tones, which seem to be reflected even on the steam train ,slowly, running along!
My best wishes.

It is always a bonus to get the castle in the background! Maybe one day some nice lighting too!!
Best Wishes and Happy Halloween!

With any (decent) railway picture you can guarantee that the photographer checked the timetable to see what was running where and when. then figured out something about lighting, long before they even got there!
Best Wishes, and a Good Weekend,
Peter

I don't usually do diesels, but I thought the yellow front end might match the straw bales well..
Best Wishes, and a Good Weekend,
Peter
