Thank you so much for a very quick visit here. I had only just put it here.
The bridge opens every 2 hours, eg 12:00, 14:00, etc etc during the day. Boats queue up to wait for opening time, and pass through in a procession.
What attracted me to this one was the very small size of the boat compared to the bridge!

What caught my eye is the contrast between this little sail boat and the big bridge which had to lift to let him past. As you know boats through here are ocean going yachts, which are a lot bigger.
This was also the day of a seafoood festival, hence the abundance of people about!
