Wow, what a steam cloud, Peter!

Hi Erhard

Thank you for your kind visit here!
Usually there is a steam train every week along here at Christmas time, and usually around sunrise in this spot.. So, we pick our time and place, and if we are lucky the sky is clear, and it snows!

No spring ... ! But when it's cold, you can see the steam better. ;-) Well done my friend!

Hi Frank

Thank you so much for visiting. As you can see, it is quite an old photo now, but a scene not forgotten. Of course you are right about the cold weather.. Always better pictures, and you have better winters than we do!

Thank you Nick.

Certainly the sight of one of these on the route they were designed for is an impressive memory.
I am so pleased that you are re-living it.

Hello Peter!

Wonderful, fearless Sir Nigel with his glorious puffs of vapor like an ancient knight against a hypothetical dragon living in the snow.. Forgive my excessive imagination, but this was my first impression and also the second ..a d the third again..
Loving it so much, my best wishes.Bea
