Hi Steve ,
Thank you very much!
Glad you like it. I had been to this exact spot with Alan many years ago, but today this was one of the special trains on the gala. As for the exhaust, the wind was blowing the right way, and then I picked the best of the pictures..
Best Wishes, and a Good Weekend,
Peter
Hi Isabel ,
Your visit is much appreciated. Thank you!
I'm happy that you had a good look!!
You are very welcome in my gallery any time, there are plenty of trains to see!!
Best Wishes, and a Good Weekend,
Peter
Oakworth and onwards to Oxenhope and 'ope all is obligingly, optimally and oustandingly okey-dokey with oodles of outrageous, openhearted, opulent and opportune ovations. Oo-Er!
(Sorry 'bout that, got carried away with myself a bit!)
Splendid shot!
All best wishes,
Andy
Hi Erhard ,
Thank you so much for your very kind visit.
I am so happy that you like the scene. I did have pretty well the whole place to myself. A couple of other guys were sat on the embankment on the right, but I don't reckon very much to their view...
Best Wishes, and a Good Week Ahead,
Peter
Hi Val,
Thank you very much!
I am pleased you found it interesting. Of course we railway photographers always try to pick places where the locomotive is working hard, and on a cold morning, which really shows up the exhaust, and then think where the wind is blowing, sun is shining, and so many other things..
I enjoy to photograph them too!
Best Wishes, and a Good Week Ahead,
Peter
