I do love these signs that you see so many of in Germany. There are a couple in Wincanton but I wish there were more over here. I'll pass on both if you don't mind....much too strong for me ;-)) It is a beautiful and very striking picture, well framed and processed.

An interesting and ornate shot here Peter and well presented with light and colour too .. iy looks like the serve Snails too as i see one on the sign also above the three bells

As for snails, I don't think so. I think only the French eat snails.. I do remember a good choice of hearty vittles more appropriate to the more discerning customers!!
