Thank you so much for your very kind words here, and more particularly for sharing your wonderful photo of Ela to go with it. One would not have existed without the other!

Thank you so much for visiting, and for your wonderful comment. Ela would be so happy
Of course we would all like our children and grandchildren to do so well in their lives. All we can do is give them a good and varied upbringing. Perhaps one day Ela might follow in Sophie's footsteps and ride horses, or maybe drive steam locomotives.. Who knows!!!!
I am really pleased that you like the excavator, as well as its picture. In our day things were built to last. Perhaps one day Ela will be able to share the fun with her own children..
Hi Steve ,
Thank you so much for your very kind visit.
I am pleased you found it interesting.
I did try many ways to get this photo, finally settling on a long exposure (so as to not freeze the flashing lights on top, and show them better), illuminated by a LED hand held inspection lamp.

I am very pleased that you like it. I did spend a while trying to find a pose which looked meaningful, but I think the one of Ela says it all..

I followed the link and Ella is gorgeous. I wonder what she will do when she grows up! I think Sophie would like to have a go at a digger ;-)
Best wishes, Rosa.
