Thank you so much for your very quick visit to this picture. Of course you know it could not have been from today, it was 24 March 2011. It had been on Pano since that time.. Maybe you had seen it there...
Anyway, I am so happy that you like it, and gave it a big star!! Thank you again!
Love Peter

Hello Peter what a lovely shot indeed and sadly do not recall this on Pano so i am indeed very pleased i have caught up with it now and placed it in my fav's folderwith a YS
Pleased that you have enjoyed the spectacle. It was their spring gala, and at the time I had a lot more work involvement with that part of the country, making weekend visits quite easy. Of course times have changed, but I realised that some of the nice pictures from those days should be brought out again!
The mapping is pretty accurate, but we railway photographers always try to pick our pots for the best light, and a locomotive working hard up a hill somewhere, plus a cold morning too!!! I am pleased that you enjoyed it
the train preceded by its glorious puff of steam seems to come out, jump in the foreground from an unknown and mysterious path ...
Maybe I work too much fantasy .. :-) but this is the beautiful and engaging impression I receive from your striking image.
Best wishes .

Your visit is most welcome, thank you.
A cold morning, with very still air, and a glimmer of sunlight appearing, then this heavy freight locomotive pounds up this gradient... A nice sight!
Glad you have enjoyed it.
Best Wishes, and a good weekend
