I had no idea that this event was on. Just went for a quiet walk round the remains of a German steelworks...
It was quite a big event, there seemed to be hundreds of competitors in the multitude of different races.. But since England always does well in cycling (think Geraint Thomas and Chris Froome..) I can imagine popularity increasing.
Thank you for your very thoughtful and kind comment. I am sure that the lady wanted to keep going... It was a very hot day, and I am sure that she had spent long enough riding up and down hills over a dusty track.. Perhaps a big cold drink was needed....
This was a very big event, so many folks with cameras,,, Maybe she will enjoy her moment of fame!

A nice action shot. She doesn't look to pleased to have her photo taken, but I guess she is rather hot and eager to keep going ;-)
Best wishes, Rosa.
