Hi Steve,

Thank you so much! This is from last weekend, but I was only passing through, so no great expedition I'm afraid. I am happy that you like it!

My dear Peter,

A very beautiful composition here!!
It will run over the moors to Pickering.
So it reminds me my first trip to England…

A big YS!

My Dear Füsun,

Thank you so much for stopping by this picture. In another couple of hundred metres it will go through a tunnel, and then pass by the sheds, then past the row of cottages at Esk Valley, and climb up to Goathland, which we know well. A very special place for us to visit!

Thank you Nick,

II can almost say "I happened to be passing that day" and did not have the opportunity to do much else. However, since it was such a nice sunny day, why let the picture pass by.

Hi Peter
may be this reference to Glenn Miller's Chattanooga is not so appropriate , I mean: But, as I saw this image I started wisthling this song joyfully.:-)

I love so much travelling on these old trains and unfortunately I can only imagine the special English sceneries this one could let me get through!!!

But now going on Wiki to visit them at least on the web:-)

Best wishes.

Hi Bea,

Thank you so much for the visit, and the link. Your enthusiasm is really appreciated.
I did a quick search for "Youtube North Yorkshire moors railway", and a lot of things surfaced which you might like.

Best Wishes
Peter
