My Dear Füsun,

Thank you so much for a very quick visit to this picture. I am so pleased that we could enjoy it.
The Manchester Ship Canal railway used to run on the far side of the water, adjacent to the canal side (sort of in line with the top of the fence in the picture), but very little trace of it remains today.
A wonderful piece of industrial history, and a wonderful adventure!
