The first of a few pictures from the day. This was one of the first cars to pass, at around 10:30AM, but remember they start at sunrise (7-00 AM), so they have probably been out in the cold for a while! It was actually quite warm in the sun!

Wonderfully nostalgic! As a teenager, we would sometimes go to see these on their 'run'. Merstham / Reigate Hill was a good place and only a bus ride from where we then lived.
