Thank you so much. You are right, I was up at 04-00 hrs so I could be there for the preparation of all these locomotives in the rising sun. (Then back for sunset later!)
There's always a lot more smoke in the morning, as the fires are not really hot until the locomotive gets moving, and the exhaust blast takes effect.
