These mountains covered with forests as far as the eye can see and in this mist: how beautiful!
An almost magical aspect!!!!!
Have a great weekend****** Best wishes****
Hey Nouchetdu, yes indeed, you are absolutely correct on your observation here...this mist, smokey look is where these mountains got their name, Great Smokey Mountains.... we love it here in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.... best wishes, and thanks for your visit... Sarah
Hey dear Steve, thank you for your nice comment on our mountain visit. the colors were so pretty this time.. most of my shots are disappointing to me...I had to keep changing the setting and some of the choices on that were not so clear and crisp as I would have liked. Im glad this reminds you of that song...Ive heard Dire Straits, but not that song, I don't think.
enjoy your Sunday, best wishes, hugs, Sarah xx
Hello my dear Sarah i am sorry to hear you thought some of the shots taken while away were disappointing to you and perhaps did not show the colours to their true bsst ?
Doug, thank you very much for your kind comment. we enjoyed these Mountains so very much this year, the fall colors were really showing off for us. :)) thanks again..
Best wishes, Sarah

This scene reminds me of the words of a Dire Straits song "These mist covered mountains are home now for me " ( Brothers in arms )
Best wishes and stay safe.
