Hello my dear Sarah what a lovely shot and what a surprise for you indeed to spot this fella walking along the walkway .. i wonder where he was heading ?
Hey dear Steve, a surprise Indeed! Just driving through a very small rural community and THERE WAS THIS PEACOCK, I know nothing more!! I stopped abruptly, rolled down the passenger side window and snapped this quickly, as he may have vanished behind those bushes.:) If only he had opened those lovely tail feathers.! I had to move on as I saw another car approaching from behind me. Thanks for your visit and comment. Sarah xx
REALLY Nick ! I did not know the Peacock was a noisy bird! and I agree, he was indeed handsome, I only wished he had shown me those tail feathers :( thanks dear Nick...Sarah
HEY THERE Alan, I wish I knew! Maybe I should have pulled over and watched him for a while to see where he went. My guess is that he may belong to a resident in the area??? only a guess:) So good to see you, I see you and that cousin are posting your captures of the lovely Edinburgh Tattoo.... thanks for your visit and comment dear Alan! Sarah
Hello Peter, so nice to see you. Yes a surprise indeed !! I know NOTHING about this Peacock or why it is walking the sidewalk here. My take on this is that it belongs obviously to someone in the area here and is tame, so it wonders around the neighborhood! ? I had to move on in the traffic but wished I had more time to watch it for a bit.... I appreciate your visit and comment as always.
Have a great weekend approaching! :) Sarah

What a wonderful surprise for you! I suppose they must live in the wild somewhere, but in a built up area? Maybe he walked off from a local farm?
Nice picture none the less!
Best Wishes
Peter
