Hey Steve, yes this is another favorite cake for me to do. its fun to do a "character" cake., or one with a theme such as this, for a baby shower. I appreciate your kind comment.
dear Amelia, thank you so much! as mentioned to Steve here, this is such a fun cake for me. it was always satisfying to see the looks on faces with this one :)) so glad you dropped by and I appreciate so much your kind comment. Hugs Sarah
Rosa, hello, thank you too for the visit and comment. No No that piece cut out was not wasted.
Guess where is is!? I cut the wheels for the carriage from THAT piece.! :))
I am so impressed by this whole series of cakes. Apart from being good to eat, the artistic ability is fantastic. You have replicated so many different textures, it is amazing!
Will there be an eclipse cake on Monday?
Best Wishes
Peter
PS, I'll be visiting your gallery a lot this week to see your eclipse pictures!!
OH My, Peter, Ive just found this comment!! Im terribly sorry my friend!! thank you so much!
I m so glad you enjoyed that series of cakes, they were a lot of fun to do. when on Pano, I had a tag called "Sarah's Cakes" and you possibly may have seen some of those, not sure.. I really appreciate such kind words on the cakes Ive done Peter, that's kind of you. and NO there was not eclipse cake! :( as I / we here in my town and area, did NOT get to see the eclipse, for heavy cloud cover:(( so many disappointed people. after having finally found the proper glasses, then COULD NOT see the eclipse:( But we were all outside and took in the awesome onset of almost darkness at 2:45 in the afternoon!!!! That was awesome!! our outside yard lamps came on and some cars passing had their automatic lights come on! It was a weird, very dramatic feeling out there!!
always good to see you Peter, Thank you.. Sarah
