Pyramide Monument HWW!

Montenvers - Chamonix

The "Pyramid" at Montenvers is a commemorative monument erected in homage to the historic visits of political figures. Built of stone, it notably celebrates the 1810 expedition led by Joséphine de Beauharnais, as well as the subsequent visits of Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie, who came to admire the Mer de Glace glacier.
