Dusk view without a sunset. The third of three posted tonight. No idea why, I just felt like it!

A shot taken from the opposite direction to the shot recently posted of the house from the road down there. Shot taken from the middle terrace, overlooking the lower terrace, part of the back garden and part of the vegetable and fruit garden.

Wow the garden is so pretty and very well kept too. That lawn looks amazing as does the camellias (if that's what is there, with pink flowers). Who does the gardening here? Do they fancy coming here to have a challenge of sorting out my garden which has been left untended for the last 5 years!!!!

Andy Rodker replied to Jenny McIntyre:

Thank you, Jenny!
Appearances can be deceptive!
The flower is the oleander - extremely common here as it tolerates heat and drought conditions.
The 'grass' is plastic: no real lawn would survive in these summers. Only local councils, if they have access to well water which ours does, can keep the parks looking green. Nobody else has real lawn gardens here!
The gardening comprises looking after the fruit and veg garden - now coming to the end of peak productivity (May and June is harvest time generally in Spain) and watering the said fruit and veg areas and the floral beds and containers of which there are quite a few. Watering often has to be done early morning and mainly last thing at night and can take a good couple of hours in total at this time of year!
So sorry, no time to spare to tackle yours!.

Andy Rodker replied to Pam J:

YES IT IS AND I FIND I'VE RUN OUT OF METHI (FENUGREEK LEAVES), SO I NEED TO GO BACK TO LAVAPIES AND GET SOME MORE FOR MY NEXT CURRY WHICH WILL BE PRAWN (English, not American - so BIG) AND HARD BOILED EGG. BELIEVE ME, IT'S A GREAT CURRY!
