Typical 'anvil' shaped thunder cloud and storm approaching.
Another humdinger of a storm this evening with huge hailstones. And predictions for more of the same this coming week. ( - As if we haven't had enough already!).

Wow Andy - it really has been bad weather for you over there. Today we had our first rain for a month - but it only lasted about half an hour!!! I love the shape of these clouds, didn't realise how dangerous that one was.

I've posted another of this cloud taken an hour or so earlier and it shows the slow progression to when it dropped its load on us! We escaped relatively lightly but a neighbour had a prize tree blasted out!
