I was surprised to see that Monaco had lots of rain today - Turkey has had floods in the southern parts, you say about Spain having thunder threatening to dump lots of water - yet here in the South West it's been a gorgeous day.

Some parts of Spain have had serious flooding too. It's just that here in the centre, plenty of electric storms and fierce-looking clouds - but still no rain!

A double threat, then: storms and drought. Something like this is palpable in your capture full of dark danger....

We have had a lot of black skies and heavy rain. Happily, we live in an area that is not prone to flooding, being on the central plateau. Other parts of the country are not so fortunate. I hope you never get rain like that!! People have lost homes and possessions.

It does look threatening but once the clouds let loose it will probably be even worse as the parched soil cannot take all the water....
