Oh no - how awful of that farmer to get rid of those amazing poppies. It's so rare to see fields with this amount of poppies in them. I think it's one of my favourite flowers, especially when they're displayed like this. This is a simply gorgeous picture

Well, I came back in May every year since, but no. They've gone. So the dozen or so photos I took in 2015 and 2016 will have to suffice. When I took these, my sister's family were living in a small flat in Algete. When I moved back in with them a couple of years ago, they had moved into a bigger house overlooking these fields (you've seen other pics of this).
