The Old Dairy, Saint Day at dusk

in Pink Moors, Vogue, St Day. No longer a creamery but they still milk their cows here. The market for Cornish clotted cream is dominated by Rodda's, just up the road in Scorrier. I don't know but this farm's milk possibly goes there for processing.
I like their yellow door!

Oh I love Rodda's clotted cream. Although there is a dairy in Appledore (about 3 miles from me) who also make their own clotted cream although more popular for their amazing icecream. I like the yellow door too.

My Mum used to give her name (Sue Rodker) when asked and in Cornwall, people said 'Do you mean Rodda?' 'I wish I did' she would reply. A fairly wealthy family I would guess!
