HFF, everyone! Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones with Joan Miró mural.

This was built just in time for the World Cup in 1982 with the final (Italy 3 : West Germany 1) played in the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu just visible to the right. It was used as the press centre.

I think it must have been something of a coup for the Madrid authorities to get the great Catalan painter Joan Miró to paint this commission!
