Yes, I understand that, Isabel. In some years the wild lupins are all pink or a light lilac colour. I think rainfall at certain times and changes to nutrients in the soil is the key. I haven't seen yellow ones in Spain but I have seen yellow tree lupins in Cornwall and they are a spectacular sight!
