Andy Rodker replied to Cheryl Beal:

Yup! Thank you, Cheryl!
The building with the curved facade is one of Madrid's most renowned music schools and on a summer's evening, with windows open, it is a delight to listen to wafts of Beethoven, Bach and Cole Porter, to name but a few!

Oh how on earth do you manage with all that traffic? I'm not surprised that you spend a lot of your time on the Sierra de la Cabrera. I used to live in a city, but not anymore - I need quiet and peace now I'm in my dotage!!!!! LOL

Andy Rodker replied to Jenny McIntyre:

I'm lucky. This is the quietest main street in Madrid and I live a long way back from the road. My block comprises 288 flatsand I guess I am a couple of 100 yards back from the road so it's very peaceful!

Andy Rodker replied to Keith Burton:

Despite being as far from the coast as you can get in Spain, Madrid often gets Atlantic coast-like skies!
