A re-visit to last year's theme of sponsored street art.

Chamartin Station car park on derelict land and the Four Towers.
Sight and sound; www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cAn98BmUtQ
A totaly stupid video and a nonsensical song but I found it very catchy!

It's good when derelict and abandoned areas are made to look more attractive by murals like this one. It's not just initials put up there, but some thought has gone into making their signatures look better with shading etc.

Andy Rodker replied to Jenny McIntyre:

These are by famous street artists, commissioned and paid for by the (then new) socialist Madrid authorities, Jenny. I think they were given the space for one year. I think this because exactly one year later they were whitewashed and a new set of artists (local, and I guess unpaid), were allowed to put up new sets of grafitti. Not nearly as good. I didn't take any photos.

Terrific street art and it's good to see it in context Andy. A lovely colourful shot mate!

I meant to save it for a fence Friday but at the last minute I forgot! Another senior moment!
