Dusty path, granite, cistus and lavender.

Peña del Tejo, an interesting little offshoot from the main ridge with some fantastic granite shapes.

Andy Rodker replied to John FitzGerald:

Thank you, John. The problem here is that the light is SOOO bright that, unless you have sophisticated gear (I don't, just a humble, and now suspicious, Huawei mobile) it is difficult to tame its intensity. I have lost the Picasa editing tools I once relied upon and now have the basic, bedrock, Google editing stuff to play with ... but it's a challenge i'm enjoying!!!

There seems to be a granite, cistus and lavender theme developing here Andy. Not that I'm complaining...........it's a wonderful combination..!!

Andy Rodker replied to Keith Burton:

If I'd gone a week earlier or later, the combo would probably have been different, maybe I'd be talking shots of orchids and peonies. You never quite know when you go in May and even early June, Keith. But always something of interest florally at this time of year.

Andy Rodker replied to Keith Burton:

You are right, Keith simply because I took 100s of shots (and missed my bus because I forget how photos can delay one !).
