WOW WOW WOW, this is just sooo lovely. Perfect composition. A gorgeous springtime picture with stunning scenery. :)

BTW, I went to visit your sunrise folder..."I've fallen and I can't get up" is the result of my visit. Gobsmacked, flabbergasted, stunned and amazed...more comments along this theme here...

Andy Rodker replied to Janet Brien:

Thank you, Janet. But I am a little bit sad that you don't get sunrises and sunsets in California, even occasionally like this.

Excellent! I really like the lavender and green colour combination. It must smell heavenly!

Andy Rodker replied to Keith Burton:

The honest truth, Keith is that when you get off the bus, it is too early in the day for the sun to have worked on the essential oils and release the aroma. Then, an hour or so later, you do get an initial 5 minute exposure to a lovely mix of lavender, rosemary and thyme. Then it all gets overwhelned by the slightly sickly smell of the cistus.
But for 5 minutes ... heaven!

What a gorgeous view - the deep lavender in the foreground and then your eyes are directed upwards to the overhang of granite with that beautiful blue sky above. Simply beautiful

Andy Rodker replied to Jenny McIntyre:

Many thanks, Jenny - good scrambling country, but I've said this before, sorry!
