My brother's cottage

Three of those five roofs (the front two to the camera and the middle back one) are my brother's new cottage, in a secluded valley near Perranporth, Cornwall. Taken from the garden which rises steeply through many terrace levels.

Nice framing and point of view, Andy, with a surprising banana tree in this latitude - but I think I remember that Cornwall has a kind of micro-climate, right?

Andy Rodker replied to Eric Desjours:

That's right, Eric. The Gulf Stream brings warm water up from the Caribbean Sea and with it some generally mild weather. I don't think this banana tree produces fruit though (although I was once told that banana is a herb, not a fruit!).

It looks a fantastic garden on different levels Andy. When my brother-in-law had a B&B in Fowey, the back garden was reached by a door on the third floor! Lovely shot by the way.
