A back street in Chinchon

Chinchon, Madrid Province is very pretty and very touristy. I visited on a Monday in April, so it was pleasantly tourist-horde free.

Easy to see why tourists like it! You did well to catch it at a less busy time.

Love the curve of the corner with the rectangular shapes of the buildings, door and windows bing such a good contrast.

Best regards, Doug

Nicely composed Andy................I like the white and terracotta paintwork and the contrasting dark blue of the sky.

Andy Rodker replied to Keith Burton:

It appealed to me too! From about this point in Central Spain and going south you start to see white-washed houses as a protection against the fierceness of the sun. North of here and you get stone clad buildings in the main.
