The shell of Saint Day's former parish church

The church minus its roof. This shot complements the one I posted a few weeks ago, here: www.ipernity.com/doc/2247598/46412996
The roof fell in during the 1950s, fortunately not during a service, and the congregation moved in to new, cosier, premises across the road.

There had been talk of rebuilding the church but no money and no sizeable congregation put paid to that notion.
