La Sierra de La Cabrera on a scorching late August day

The three highest peaks of this tiny granitic sierra are: left to right; El Cancho de La Bola - more or less in the centre of the skyline (home to Griffon vultures) - at 4,780 ft, El Cancho Gordo at 5,064 ft and El Cancho Largo at 5,080 ft. Mere hillocks by Alpine standards but higher than anything in the British Isles.

You can almost feel the heat coming off those rocks..!!

A lovely clean and detailed image Andy, which shows of the shapes and textures of the landscape perfectly.
