Buonasera Doug, this is the San Bernardino Pass area. The site is quite popular because though the steep mountains all around it's a safe avalanche area thanks to the large extension of the pass area. So it's wild but sometimes also "crowded", you know, as the Everest Base Camp... Anyway it's so beautiful!
