This attractive medieval five-arched bridge built around 1300 is one of the oldest in the country and still carries main road traffic over the River Wye.

The bridge has five arches with cutwaters, one of which supports the base of a cross.

Cette photo a l'air tellement plus ancienne que 2016. Le pont est bien connu ou bien c'est le même que certains autres ponts construits comme celui-ci. Ces parties triangulaires permettent aux personnes de s'écarter lorsque les voitures et les chevaux doivent traverser le pont.

Localité intéressante du 'Peak District', Bakewell est proche de ces merveilles que sont Chatsworth et Haddon Hall.
