Inside the Katajanokka Jail in Helsinki - now a Best Western Hotel.

The former Southern Finland County Jail continued to serve as a prison until 2002. After that, it was converted into a hotel. Parts of the building remained unchanged, such as the insulation cell shown here in the picture.

Das ehemalige Bezirksgefängnis Südfinnlands diente noch bis 2002 als Gefängnis. Danach wurde es in ein Hotel umgewandelt. Teile des Gebäudes blieben unverändert, so wie die hier im Bild gezeigte Isolationszelle.
