HFF and good weekend

During your ski-relaxation ? HFF

Yes. At minus 15 degrees centigrade. I love this polar cold air more than anything.
Wrapped up warm in the sunshine, it is a treat for the lungs and the soul.
If mountains and the curvature of the earth didn't prevent it, I could wave to Sami in Tampere in weather like this.

Many people envy us here because we have very mild temperatures in winter, as the sun is higher than in the north wecan reach 20ºC lunch time.... and more if you stand in the sun. And our winters in nature are flowery.
But I miss what you have. I guess one has to be born there not to miss what I have after a few weeks, but my ideal would be periods here and periods in the mountains. My friends I used to climb with are too old now and I am getting old too, I have trained in different type of hiking now (not easy ones either) but I really do miss snow and mountaineer activity.
I have never skied, but I guess I would enjoy cross-country skiing a lot.
Maybe next year if this bloody thing is over... and in the ideal would be an ipernity team meeting in St Johann or in Finland +++++++
