Cthulhu waits dreaming...

In H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos, the phrase "In his house at R'lyeh, dead
Cthulhu waits dreaming" is central to the slumbering cosmic entity, Cthulhu,
who resides in the sunken city of R'lyeh beneath the Pacific Ocean, in a state
that is neither truly alive nor dead. While dormant, Cthulhu can still exert
influence on the world through telepathy, sending dreams that inspire his
cultists and may eventually lead to his full awakening and the end of the
world.
