Ninfa

Yesterday afternoon she managed to unleash herself during the walk… went hunting rabbits without a look back. After two hours calling and whistling no sign of her.
We were afraid she might be caught in a trap, lost, run over while crossing a road (even if the roads are narrow and very little traffic).
JP stayed home in case she returned and I took the jeep to go slowly in the paths in the wild were she could be, hoping she would recognize the engine noise, horning, extra lights on… and it worked.
She was wounded and scratched all over but nothing serious fortunately.
After that we were all exhausted…
Coming back later here for HBM post, now time to get up and take both dogs for a very short walk!!!
This photo was taken before the adventure of course!

My dogs are Podengos or Podencos, Iberian Peninsula primitive dogs.
I feel such a relief…

Such a worrying experience, but I'm glad you got her back, albeit a bit wounded..........and no doubt feeling sorry for herself.

This is a delightful photo of her Isabel...........she looks very contented..!!
