The Organ Pipes

The Organ Pipes are a formation near Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland. The are east of the main causeway area along a trail the follows the cliffs. The trail is now closed a ways beyond due to the danger of falling rock.

Man sieht auch hier wie die Lava säulenartig durch den Schlund des Vulkans gepresst wurde, Ron. Auch in meiner Heimat gab es vor der Industrialisierung 40 m hohe Basaltsäulen zu Kegeln aneinandergereiht.
