We visited Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada on our way to Las Vegas where we picked up our oldest daughter and went on to Grand Canyon National Park for a week of hiking and backpacking. This is Elephant Rock near the east entrance to the park, one of numerous shorter hikes we did.
