West Rim Trail

The West Rim Trail in Zion National Park climbs from the canyon bottom and the Virgin River up the side of the canyon and through a narrow break to Scout's Overlook and Angel's Landing before continuing along the west rim of the canyon. This photo looks back through the break in the canyon wall to the Great White Throne on the east rim of the canyon.

Oh wow. This is so beautiful What an amazing photo. The distant mountain having that lighter tone reminds me so much of Ansel Adams images - and of course his are great in black and white - but you have done similar with color!!

I've never been to Zion. Obviously it would be a good idea for me, but if I don't ever go at least I get to see your images!

It's fascinating that trees grow in this narrow-looking gorge. Their colors create a beautiful contrast with the color of the rocks.

Beautiful nature photos, Ron!
