In September we were in southern California for a conference and on our way home spent several days in Yosemite National Park. We left the city of Redlands in the evening, drove through the night and slept several hours in the parking lot at Glacier Point. We were up before dawn and hiked part of the Four Mile Trail above Yosemite Valley. This is the valley and Half Dome from Glacier Point at sunrise.
