Our favorite hike in the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park was the hike to and through Lost Canyon. There was water in the canyon, a rarity in the area and the hike along that part of the canyon was cool and refreshing.

We are home again after driving through the night and all morning yesterday, a drive of over 1000 miles (1700 km) from Colorado. The last few weeks we put over 5000 miles on our car, but were able to see many family members.
