The Pacific Northwest is a great place to live and always green, but there is a reason for all the green - lots of rain. It is hard to convey just how green everything is and just how much moss is to be found in the woods and along the trails. This photo was taken off the Hannegan Pass Road, a gravel Forest Service Road early last spring after snowshoeing up to Artist's Point.
