Duct Cleaning

RR, the well-known initials of Rolls-Ro... of Rohr-Royal, of course.
I liked the “kommen -sehen - lösen” (to come - to see - to solve), echoing Julius Caesar’s famous “Veni, vidi, vi... solvi”.

It has been a good year, so far. Having to work 24 hours a day and 365 days a year, the plumbers just had their day off, on February 29th.

As to February 29th, I suppose there are firms which only work on that day. Or perhaps the Germans are disciplined enough not to make use of the bathroom then.

I believe it’s right not to stress the differences between nations, but the analogies. That wet spot could be anything, certainly also the residue of a few beers.
Forgive me for not having made further enquiries. The least I could have done is ask: “Excuse me, Sir, but does this belong to you?” That could have been the sound base for an in-depth discussion.

“Yes a girl can!!!”? I know no movie of that title ... do you mean “The girl can’t help it”? Well, the answer is wrong anyway.
“Pretty in pink”? No, but I bet you are!

It’s William Keighley’s “The man who came to dinner”, a rare screwball comedy with Bette Davis. Funny!
